Tiny Worlds of the Appalachian Mountains: An Artist’s Journey Gallery Talk and Book Signing

Tiny Worlds of the Appalachian Mountains: An Artist’s Journey Gallery Talk and Book Signing

Join WV artist and author Rosalie Haizlett for a tour of her exhibition Tiny Worlds of the Appalachian Mountains and stick around to have her autograph your own copy of her illustrated book! Rosalie will talk about her creative process for creating the watercolor paintings that became her book manuscript, as well as her six-month journey through the Appalachian Mountains and the development of her book from pen to publication. If you want a copy, Taylor Books will be on hand selling Rosalie’s books including Tiny Worlds—just released on Sept. 1!

This program and accompanying exhibit are presented with support from the Bernard H. & Blanche E. Jacobson Foundation, Charles & Mary Fayne Glotfelty Foundation, Daywood Foundation, Elliot Family Foundation, Fund for the Arts, and Herscher Foundation, Inc.

The Clay Center’s performing and visual arts offerings are presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture, and History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.

This exhibit is free with museum admission.
