Experience a World Where Dreams of a Brilliant, Limitless Future Come to Life at the 14th Annual Carnaval Celebration

CHARLESTON, WV (October 18, 2024) - The Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of WV is excited to announce its 14th annual fundraising gala, Carnaval. Themed “Utopia,” the event takes place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM at the Clay Center and features, lavish décor, scrumptious food, unique auction items including works of art by renowned WV artists, and live entertainment in multiple locations throughout the venue. Guests are invited to immerse themselves in this utopian evening filled with glamour and creativity, where the beauty of art and science intertwines.

“Carnaval is a huge help in raising money for the Clay Center’s arts and STEAM programs that touch the lives of thousands of students and families in West Virginia every year,” says Jason Hall, Vice President of The Ruth & J O Stone Foundation board. “When folks support this event, they’re playing a part in inspiring the next wave of innovators, explorers, and creators, and my Great Aunt Ruth [from whose estate the Ruth & J O Stone Foundation was created] would have wholeheartedly supported that.”
