Something Pretty: New Work by Nichole Westfall

RESIDENCY: NOVEMBER 17–DECEMBER 20, 2023
EXHIBIT: DECEMBER 21, 2023–FEBRUARY 25, 2024

“Defender of the Decorative Arts”—that is how West Virginia artist Nichole Westfall describes her work. Westfall is known for her colorful murals across our region: joyful, whimsical scenes created with large blocks of color and patterning.

The Juliet Art Museum welcomes Westfall this winter with a new exhibition! She will be our Artist in Residence from Nov. 17 through Dec. 20, working on new paintings with an open studio. Members of the public can wander by and observe her at work or ask her questions. Her new paintings will remain on display for two months after her residency.

This residency and exhibition are supported by The Elliott Family Foundation, Daywood Foundation, Herscher Foundation, Inc., Glotfelty Foundation, Bernard H. & Blanche E. Jacobson Foundation, WV Division of Arts, Culture, and History, National Endowment for the Arts, and Fund for the Arts.
