(SOLD OUT) Shoji Satake Clay Workshop

(SOLD OUT) Shoji Satake Clay Workshop

Who wants to make a mug or bowl out of clay when you can make something unique—like a flower!

The next Juliet Art Museum artist-in-residence is ceramicist Shoji Satake, an Associate Professor in the School of Art & Design at WVU and Coordinator of the School’s Ceramics in China program.

Join him in a three-hour workshop where he will guide you on the intricacies of clay as you create your own ceramic flower.

This workshop is presented with support from the Bernard H. & Blanche E. Jacobson Foundation, Charles & Mary Fayne Glotfelty Foundation, Daywood Foundation, Elliot Family Foundation, Fund for the Arts, and Herscher Foundation, Inc.

The Clay Center’s performing and visual arts offerings are presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture, and History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
