Brandon Woody is a New York Times-featured trumpeter, composer, and educator who began his musical journey at the age of 7. Known for his soulful artistry and dynamic performances, Brandon is the founder of Upendo, a band that brings his original compositions to life on stages across the globe. From Jazz at Lincoln Center and The Kennedy Center to the Newport and Monterey Jazz Festivals, Brandon has performed at some of the world’s most renowned venues and events.
