Art Appreciation Lectures
Do you love art and want to learn more about it? Join art historian Robin Fisher for our all new Art Appreciation series. We will take a look at various art movements, the well-known artists associated with them and some of the more famous works they created.

English Impressionism
Tuesday, May 8, 6 pm – 7 pm, Art Gallery
Fee: $7 per session


Take a look at some of the English Impressionists, such as Walter Sickert, Spencer Gore and Alfred Sisley, and see how their art compares to that of their French counterparts.



Introduction to Stained Glass 
with Tom Pralley
Saturdays, May 5 & 19; 9 am – 11 am, 12 pm – 2 pm OR 3 pm – 5 pm
Fee: Members $50; Non-members $60 (includes both Saturday sessions)
Learn how to make your very own stained glass work of art under the tutelage of stained glass artist, Tom Pralley. You will be able to make your own unique stained glass creation in two 2-hour sessions. All tools and materials are provided. Space extremely limited. 


Art and Science of Wine VI: Wines of Italy
Tuesdays & Thursdays, June 19, 21, 26 & 28, 6 – 8 pm each session
Fee: $90 for Clay Center members; $100 for non-members (includes all four sessions)

Culinary Institute of America (CIA) Certified Wine Professional and Wine Consultant at The Liquor Company, Sam Uppala will conduct this four-class session, exploring the wines of Italy from the familiar varietals to many not-so-familiar ones. A challenging course intended to be a great deal of fun for beginner or experienced wine lover. No prerequisites required.
